If you haven’t come across it before, the Feldenkrais Method, often referred to simply as “Feldenkrais”, is a movement-based learning system. It offers a unique approach to self-understanding and improving function. Its effectiveness lies in helping people access their nervous systems own innate process for change and reorganisation. It aims to promote general wellbeing by expanding people’s awareness of themselves. It acts to improve people’s movement repertoire, which can also help reduce anxiety, pain or limitations in movement.
