The Feldenkrais Method of Learning is a great method for improving functional ability and addressing neurological impairments, muscular-skeletal problems and chronic pain.
It is a very gentle method where attention is brought inwards to sensing, feeling and differentiating movement. As awareness is enhanced so is the brain’s ability to co-ordinate movement and when we shift the distribution of labour to include more of ourselves in our movement, we start to restore our capacity to move more freely …. we can then discover more resilient ways of being active in daily life.
Even when you have limitations you may be surprised by the choices you have when you unpick old habits and restrictive ways of being.
Lessons can be taught individually with a one on one session or as part of a group .
